Role Description This is a full time, on-site Warehouse Manager role based in Silvassa.
The Warehouse
Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and finished goods to support mobile phone manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, implementing stock control procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role involves leading and supervising warehouse staff, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and maintaining compliance with safety,
quality, and security standards.
The Warehouse
Manager is expected to optimize space utilization, improve workflow efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes.
Qualifications
- Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Experience in inventory management and operations management within a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and material handling equipment, with a focus on safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic office software for reporting and data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, workload planning, and performance monitoring.
- Solid understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards relevant to warehouse and manufacturing operations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field; prior experience in electronics or mobile manufacturing is an advantage.
