Warehouse - Officer

Experience : 2-4 Years in pharmaceutical

Key Responsibilities

A. Material Receipt and Inspection

- Receive raw materials, solvents, chemicals, intermediates, packing materials, and finished goods.
- Verify materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and approved specifications.
- Check material labels, container integrity, quantity, batch numbers, and supplier details.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) departments for sampling and material status.

B. Storage and Material Handling
- Maintain segregation of approved, quarantined, rejected, returned, and expired materials.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous chemicals, flammable solvents, and temperature-sensitive materials.
- Follow FEFO/FIFO principles as applicable.
- Monitor warehouse temperature, humidity, housekeeping, and pest-control requirements.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of all materials.

C. Material Issuance and Dispatch
- Issue raw materials and solvents to production against authorized material requisitions.
- Verify material codes, batch numbers, quantities, and status before issuance.
- Maintain dispensing and material issue records as required by approved procedures.
- Coordinate the transfer of finished API products to the finished-goods warehouse.




- Ensure proper packing, labeling, documentation, and dispatch of finished goods.

D. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records, including:
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Stock registers and inventory records
- Material issue and return records
- Bin cards and stock reconciliation reports
- Temperature and humidity logs
- Material status and movement records
- Cleaning and housekeeping checklists
- Follow Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and applicable SOPs.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure records are complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and stock verification activities.
- Report deviations, discrepancies, damaged containers, and other nonconformances to the appropriate department.

E. Inventory Control and Safety
- Maintain accurate physical and system stock balances.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock verification.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor near-expiry, expired, slow-moving, and non-moving materials.
- Ensure warehouse equipment, racks, pallets, and material-handling systems are used safely.

Reporting to Warehouse Manager Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
