About the Role

Kurikkal Furnishing is a distributor of sofa and furnishing raw materials, including foam, rexine, fabrics, gum, belts, and other related products.

We are looking for a Warehouse & Customer Service Executive to manage our day-to-day warehouse operations while providing excellent service to customers visiting our Kottakkal location.

This is a customer-facing and operational role involving customer handling, product explanation, order processing, ERP entry, warehouse coordination, delivery follow-up, and collection follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Handling & Service

- Welcome and attend to customers visiting the warehouse in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and show suitable products such as foam, rexine, fabrics, gum, belts, and other sofa materials.
- Explain product details, availability, pricing, and other relevant information to customers.
- Assist customers throughout the purchase process and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Handle customer enquiries through phone and WhatsApp when required.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending orders, deliveries, and payments.
- Handle customer concerns and coordinate with the concerned team for quick resolution.
- Encourage satisfied customers to share their experience through Google Reviews.

Warehouse & Operations

- Manage daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Receive and process customer orders through the ERP system accurately.
- Coordinate with the loading and unloading team for order preparation and dispatch.
- Ensure the correct products and quantities are prepared as per customer orders.




- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure orders reach customers on time.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of materials and maintain proper stock records.
- Check products before dispatch and report any shortage, damage, or mismatch.
- Maintain proper arrangement, cleanliness, and discipline within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Delivery, and Management teams whenever required.
- Follow up on pending cash collections and update the concerned team.
- Prepare basic operational updates and reports as required by management.

Requirements
- Plus Two / Degree / Any relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, customer service, CRE, sales support, or similar roles will be an advantage.
- Experience in furniture, furnishing, interior materials, sofa materials, or related industries is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn and work with ERP software.
- Good coordination and teamwork skills.
- Malayalam communication is required; basic English knowledge is an advantage.
- Should be responsible, punctual, active, and willing to handle both customer-facing and warehouse-related work.
- Candidates should be comfortable with walking, standing, and supervising warehouse activities.
- Candidates from Kottakkal and nearby areas will be given preference.

Important This is not a purely warehouse or loading/unloading position. The role involves both customer handling and warehouse operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing valuable customer service while ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
