Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and record Sales and Purchase Entries in ERP/accounting software.
- Verify and maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Prepare and file TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns.
- Process and maintain Professional Tax (PT) entries and statutory compliance records.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, including outstanding balances.
- Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist in GST reconciliations, month-end closing, and MIS reporting.
- Coordinate with internal departments and auditors for accounting and compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile Desired Qualification & Experience:

- B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an engineering manufacturing or pump industry.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, TDS, PT, GST, and statutory compliances.
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and documentation skills.
