Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy &

- Credit Policy

- Build and implement credit strategies to define GTM approach, customer eligibility, and exposure decisions throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Partner with business and product teams to optimize customer journeys and communication across digital channels (SMS, USSD, OBD, Mobile App).
- Collaborate with external debt collection agencies and optimize direct debit rules for delinquent segments.
- Develop frameworks for measuring and improving strategy performance periodically.

Portfolio Monitoring, Forecasting &

- Governance

- Own Portfolio P&L; KPIs and ensure governance with banks and telcos to meet targets.
- Design portfolio tracking metrics and reporting dashboards in collaboration with tech teams.
- Coordinate overdue processes and propose solutions to maintain portfolio health.

Growth Opportunities

- Identify current customer segments and product constructs for revenue enhancement.
- Drive a Test &
- Learn agenda to experiment with new product features, refine offers, and optimize marketing efforts across the lifecycle.

Required Qualifications &

- Skills

- Deep expertise in scorecards, credit policies, and risk management for unsecured retail lending.
- Proven experience defining underwriting strategies,



exposure management, and owning portfolio KPIs for risk and revenue.
- Experience leading a credit policy analytics team (2–3 members) and providing functional guidance.
- Hands-on experience in data extraction using SQL, Python, and PySpark (Big Data Hadoop/Spark stack).
- Familiarity with ML algorithms for underwriting and risk modeling.
- Strong analytical mindset and entrepreneurial drive.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Previous experience managing P&L; for credit portfolios.
- Exposure to credit card or digital lending firms.
- Hands-on experience with telecom data for credit profiling.
