Role Description The Visa Counselor role is a full-time, in office position based in Vadodara, Gujarat.

The Visa

Counselor will provide guidance to students and professionals on suitable study, visitor, work, and immigration visa options, based on individual profiles and destination requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining visa processes and eligibility criteria, assisting clients with documentation, form filling, and application preparation, and coordinating with internal teams for admissions and follow-up. The role involves maintaining accurate client records, tracking application status, and communicating updates clearly and promptly.

Counselor will also support outreach activities,



participate in information sessions, and help uphold the organization’s standards of ethical, transparent, and client-focused service.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and client service skills, with the ability to understand individual goals and explain complex visa processes clearly.
- Knowledge of study abroad pathways, student visas, visitor visas, work visas, and general immigration procedures for major destination countries.
- Proficiency in documentation review, form filling, and basic compliance checks to ensure accurate and complete visa applications.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with confident speaking, writing, and presentation abilities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, maintain records, and meet application timelines.
- Comfort using computers, online application portals, and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing tools).
- Prior experience in immigration consulting, overseas education counseling, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; fields such as International Relations, Business, or Education Counseling are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a client-centric approach, with willingness to learn and stay updated on changing visa regulations.
