About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with at least 1 year of skilled experience in editing videos for social media, digital marketing, advertisements, and personal-brand content.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Talking Head / Headshot videos, educational or explainer-style content, reels, advertisements and social media videos.

If you understand how to make a talking-head video engaging through clean cuts, pacing, B-rolls, captions, graphics, sound effects and visual storytelling, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Working On

- Talking-head / headshot videos
- Instagram Reels and short-form videos
- YouTube-style educational and explainer videos
- Personal-brand content
- Digital advertisements and promotional videos
- Social media content
- Long-form videos and short-form content repurposing
- B-roll-based storytelling
- Motion graphics, text animations and visual effects where required

Editing Style We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who understands the modern educational / documentary / explainer-style editing approach — similar in editing principles to popular creator-led content.

This does not mean copying any creator's exact style. We are looking for an editor who understands:





- Strong storytelling and pacing
- Clean and engaging cuts
- Jump cuts
- Relevant B-roll placement
- Dynamic captions and text
- Visual references and supporting footage
- Sound effects and audio enhancement
- Zoom-ins / punch-ins where appropriate
- Motion graphics
- Maintaining viewer attention throughout the video

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos according to the brief and brand requirements.
- Convert raw footage into engaging, polished social-media content.
- Edit talking-head videos with proper pacing, cuts, captions, B-roll and graphics.
- Create engaging Reels, advertisements and promotional videos.
- Maintain consistency in fonts, colours, transitions and overall visual language.
- Improve audio quality, colour correction and overall video presentation.
- Understand the objective of every video and edit accordingly.
- Take feedback positively and make revisions within deadlines.
- Manage multiple video projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Stay updated with current social-media editing trends and formats.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating actual video-editing work.




- Experience with Talking Head / Headshot videos is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in social media content and digital advertisements.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing and audience retention.
- Proficiency in professional editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- CapCut Pro
- Basic understanding of colour correction, sound design and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and willingness to take feedback.

What We Are NOT Looking For

Please do not apply if your experience is limited only to:

- Wedding video editing
- Basic birthday/event videos
- Simple photo-to-video edits
- Only template-based Reels
- Basic Canva video editing
- No professional editing experience

We need someone who has hands-on experience creating professional digital content.

Mandatory Requirement

You must have your own laptop suitable for professional video editing.

The role is ON-SITE in Jaipur, so please apply only if you are currently based in Jaipur or are genuinely available to work from Jaipur.

Location: Jaipur ONLY.

Salary

Up to ₹25,000/month, depending on experience, portfolio, editing skills and interview performance.
