Role Description The Video Editor role at The Corporate Pot is a full-time remote position focused on creating high-quality video content that communicates complex technology and business concepts in a clear and engaging manner. In this role, the Video Editor will edit raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, and refining audio to meet brand and campaign objectives. The person in this role will collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop video narratives, incorporate graphics and motion elements, and ensure consistent visual style across all content.
Day-to-day tasks include color grading,
basic sound adjustments, integrating motion graphics, and preparing videos optimized for various platforms such as websites, social media, and presentations.
The Video
Editor will also contribute to content planning, maintain organized project files, and suggest creative approaches to improve visual storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating and refining high-quality digital content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and visually appealing output aligned with brand guidelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design engaging visual elements, overlays, and animations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Robust visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design are preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Prior experience creating video content for technology, SaaS, or business solutions companies is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
