: Video Editor

Salary Range: Up to ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to turn raw footage into engaging, polished videos for our digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, knows what works on social media, and can deliver quality edits on tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into finished videos for reels, YouTube, ads, promos, testimonials, and corporate content
- Create short-form (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form video edits
- Apply cuts, transitions, color correction, color grading, and sound mixing
- Add music, captions, subtitles, voiceovers, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
- Work with the content, design, and shoot teams to understand scripts, storyboards, and campaign goals
- Export videos in the correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for each platform
- Incorporate client and team feedback and make revisions quickly
- Organize, archive, and back up footage and project files
- Manage multiple edits at once and meet deadlines




- Keep up with editing styles, trends, and platform formats

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film/Video Production, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
- 2+ years of experience in video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or similar tools for motion graphics and animated text
- Solid sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling
- Ability to edit fast-paced, engaging short-form content
- Good understanding of audio syncing and basic audio cleanup
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Malayalam content, subtitling, and local audience preferences
- Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, or AI-based editing tools
- Basic videography or camera handling skills
- Knowledge of sound design and audio mixing
- Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement
- A strong showreel or portfolio of published work
