Video Editor Intern The Nexus | Mumbai, Maharashtra, India | Hybrid | Part time The Nexus is looking for a creative Video Editor Intern who can turn real event footage into short-form content that people actually want to watch.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work on content for The Nexus’s events, communities and experiences. You’ll primarily work remotely on editing, with occasional in-person event shoots in Mumbai.

What you’ll do

- Edit approximately 12–15 Reels and short-form videos each month
- Edit event highlights, recaps, BTS and promotional content
- Shoot vertical video at selected The Nexus events in Mumbai
- Capture people, reactions, interactions, energy and behind-the-scenes moments
- Turn raw footage into engaging, social-first videos
- Work on hooks, pacing, music, captions, transitions and storytelling
- Repurpose event footage into multiple pieces of content
- Take feedback, make revisions and improve with every project
- Work directly with the team to understand the purpose and creative direction of each video

What we’re looking for

- Strong interest in video editing and short-form content
- A good eye for pacing, storytelling and visual composition
- Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar tools
- Ability to shoot good vertical video using a smartphone or camera
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines




- Good communication and responsiveness
- Students, freshers and early-stage creators are welcome

Internship structure

- Initial duration: 1 month
- Part-time, primarily remote
- Occasional on-site event shoots in Mumbai
- Approximately 10–12 hours per week
- Month 1: Unpaid learning and evaluation period
- Based on performance and mutual fit, The Nexus may offer a further 2-month paid internship at ₹2,000/month
- Paid continuation is not guaranteed
