We’re looking for an editor who can tell a story.

Not someone who only knows where the cut tool is.

At Crafted Studios, we’re looking for a Video Editor Intern who understands pacing, emotion, music, visuals, and most importantly - why a cut works.

You should be someone who can take raw footage and think:

“How do I make someone keep watching?”

Not

“Which transition should I add here?”

What you’ll work onYou’ll edit content across:

- Reels and short-form social content
- Founder and personal-brand videos
- Brand films and campaigns
- Podcast and interview content
- Fashion, lifestyle and product shoots
- Behind-the-scenes and storytelling-led edits

You’ll work closely with our creative, production and strategy teams to turn ideas and raw footage into content people actually want to watch. What we’re looking forYou don’t need years of experience.

But you do need good taste, curiosity and storytelling instinct.

You should

- Understand pacing, rhythm and viewer retention
- Know how to build a story from raw footage
- Have a good sense of music, sound design and visual flow
- Understand when an edit needs to be rapid — and when it needs room to breathe
- Be comfortable experimenting with different editing styles
- Take feedback well and improve quickly

- Notice the small details others usually miss
- Be hungry to learn, not wait to be spoon-fed

ToolsYou should be comfortable with at least one professional editing workflow such as: Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro

Knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, colour grading or sound design is a bonus.

But software knowledge alone will not get you selected.

We care much more about how you think as an editor.

Who should NOT applyIf your editing process is mostly:

random transitions + trending template + captions + export this probably isn’t the right internship.

We want someone who wants to become a storyteller through editing, not just a software operator.

What you’ll getYou’ll get hands-on experience working on real brands, shoots and campaigns while learning how professional content is conceptualised, shot and edited from start to finish.

You’ll also get the opportunity to work closely with a growing creative team and take on significantly more responsibility as your skills improve.
