Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru.
The Video
Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into compelling content for brand campaigns, product launches, social media, and digital marketing channels. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with creative and marketing teams, selecting shots, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and refining narrative flow to align with brand guidelines. The role also involves basic color correction, motion graphics integration,
and adapting content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
The Video
Editor will maintain organized project files, manage version control, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality video assets that reflect Escape Plan’s visual identity and storytelling style.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for digital and social media content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone and quality.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics for title sequences, lower-thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and translate concepts into engaging visual stories.
- Strong sense of pacing, composition, and sound synchronization, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective collaboration skills and ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communications, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is essential.
