Role Description

We're hiring a Video Editor to turn raw recordings into published content across our social channels.

You'll edit long-form video for YouTube and short-form video for reels and shorts. You'll design carousels and post graphics, then schedule and publish them. One recording should become many pieces, so you'll spend your time finding them.

You'll work directly with the founder. The founder decides what gets said. You decide how it looks, moves and lands on each platform.

What you'll do

- Edit long-form and short-form video from raw footage, including cuts, pacing, captions, sound and colour.
- Repurpose each recording into reels, shorts, clips and carousels.
- Design carousels and post graphics in our brand system.
- Write captions from the founder's notes. The founder approves them.




- Schedule and publish on our primary channels. We'll add more as quality holds.
- Reply to comments and DMs, and escalate anything strategic.
- Send a short weekly report on saves, shares, profile visits and clicks.
- Keep a standing weekly block for long-form edits that daily posting doesn't bump.

Qualifications

Must have

- Strong video editing in long-form and short-form formats, shown in a portfolio or showreel. This is required.
- Hands-on with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar tools.
- Design skills in Canva or Figma for carousels and graphics.
- Working knowledge of platform formats, aspect ratios, durations and native publishing tools on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
- Positive audio cleanup and captioning habits.
- Attention to detail, and the discipline to hit deadlines without being chased.
- Enough understanding of marketing to follow an idea without flattening it into generic tips.

Nice to have

- Motion graphics in After Effects.
- Podcast editing experience.
- Experience publishing for a founder-led or B2B brand.
