Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Brand Script Co.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and refining video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and organizing footage, applying color correction and grading, adding motion graphics and visual elements, and integrating audio to produce polished, on-brand videos. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and creative teams to interpret briefs, maintain consistent visual style, and deliver projects on time.

The Video

Editor will participate in brainstorming sessions, provide creative input,



and optimize videos for various platforms and performance goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to manage footage from raw capture to final deliverable.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, overlays, and animated elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines in a remote environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or agency settings is preferred; a portfolio or reel showcasing recent work is required.
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is beneficial but equivalent professional experience is also valued.
