About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can take full ownership of projects from raw footage to final delivery. You'll work primarily in DaVinci Resolve, handle a range of formats from ad films to social media content, and communicate directly with domestic and international clients. This role is for someone who doesn't just edit, but delivers premium, high-end work, understands storytelling and brand guidelines, and knows what it takes to make a client happy with the first draft.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos, including ad films, brand videos, corporate content, YouTube videos, reels, and short-form social media content.
- Use DaVinci Resolve as the primary tool for editing, color grading, audio finishing (Fairlight), and motion graphics (Fusion).
- Deliver premium-quality edits with cinematic pacing, smooth transitions, refined sound design, and high-end finishing that meets the standards of top brands and international clients.
- Create motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve Fusion, including titles, lower thirds, animated text, logo animations, and kinetic typography.
- Interpret creative briefs, scripts, and client references accurately and turn them into compelling edits.
- Manage projects end to end: footage organization, rough cut, revisions, final export, and delivery in client-specified formats and specifications.
- Communicate professionally with international clients across time zones,



handling feedback and revisions clearly and promptly.
- Maintain consistent quality and brand standards across all deliverables.
- Mentor junior editors, review their work, and help set editing standards within the team.
- Stay updated on editing trends, platform requirements (YouTube, Instagram, Meta Ads, etc.), and new tools.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong command of DaVinci Resolve, including editing, color grading, audio, and motion graphics in Fusion.
- Working knowledge of other editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Proven experience delivering work for professional clients; experience with foreign clients is strongly preferred.

- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, sound design, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of delivery standards: codecs, resolutions, aspect ratios, frame rates, and platform-specific export settings.
- Good written and spoken English for client communication.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
- Your own editing setup capable of handling 4K footage in DaVinci Resolve smoothly, with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Comfortable working independently and staying responsive during working hours, with some flexibility for calls with international clients in different time zones.
- A strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates premium, high-end editing and motion graphics work is mandatory.

Valuable to Have

- Advanced motion graphics skills in After Effects as an addition to Fusion.
- Experience editing advertising and performance marketing creatives.
- DaVinci Resolve certification.
- Familiarity with review and project management tools like Frame.io, Trello, or Asana.
