Aanvios Multimedia Academy is looking for a passionate and skilled Video Editing Faculty / Trainer to mentor aspiring editors, filmmakers, and digital content creators.

We operate as both a multimedia academy and an active production house. In this role, you will lead hands-on, practical lab and classroom sessions, guiding students through real-world workflows—from raw footage assembly and narrative pacing to advanced color grading, sound design, and modern AI-powered post-production techniques.

Technical Skills

- Primary NLEs: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Audio & Motion: Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (essential titles/motion graphics) and audio tools (Adobe Audition or DaVinci Fairlight).
- Workflows: Strong understanding of aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16), frame rates, codecs, proxy editing, and export optimization.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools for video post-production (enhancement, automated workflows, AI b-roll/prompting) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Classroom & Lab Instruction: Conduct daily interactive training covering core video editing concepts, narrative structure, pacing, transitions, and multi-cam workflows.
- Software Training: Train students hands-on in industry-standard software: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and core post-production tools.
- Color Grading & Sound Design: Teach color correction, grading workflows (LUTs, scopes, node structures), audio syncing, noise cleanup, and sound effects integration.
- Motion & Titling Basics:



Guide students on essential video motion techniques using Adobe After Effects (lower thirds, kinetic text, title cards, speed ramps).
- AI Video Workflows: Demonstrate modern AI-assisted editing tools (smart masking, automated captions, audio enhancement, AI generative video pipelines).
- Student Mentorship & Portfolio: Supervise student edits for short films, commercials, YouTube videos, and social media reels; help them build an industry-ready showreel.

Requirements & Candidate Profile

- Experience: 1–3 years of professional video editing experience (in a production house, media agency, YouTube channel studio, or independent filmmaking).
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is welcomed, but passionate working editors with clear communication and patience for beginners are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Ability to teach and communicate comfortably in Malayalam and English.
- Showreel: A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating narrative pacing, clean cuts, audio sync, and color grading.
