Required Skills

- Strong understanding of software validation, defect lifecycle management, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu and Yocto.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.

- Experience with software quality assurance methodologies, test processes, and release qualification practices.

- Own end-to-end validation of x86 platform IO and Ethernet driver features across Linux-based environments.

- Execute functional, regression, stress and release qualification test cases.

- Experience working with features including MAC/PHY, VLAN, RSS, SR-IOV, MSI-X, PTP, DPDK, and networking performance workloads.

- Experience working with features such as PCIe, NVMe, I2C, I3C, SMBus, GPIO, IOMMU, LSIO, HSIO etc

- Analyze and debug Linux kernel, driver, BSP,



and platform software issues

- Perform defect triage, log analysis, root cause investigation, and verification of fixes.

- Collaborate closely with Driver, BIOS, Firmware, IP, and Architecture teams to drive issue resolution.

- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and test automation frameworks (Positive to Have).

- Strong knowledge of Linux networking, device drivers, Ethernet technologies, and test automation frameworks.
