USG Typist

Location: Ithis Hospital, Kizhakkethala, Malappuram, Kerala

Job Responsibilities

- Type and prepare ultrasound (USG) reports accurately based on the radiologist’s findings.
- Enter patient details and investigation information correctly into the hospital system.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Coordinate with radiologists and the radiology department for timely report preparation.
- Check reports for spelling, formatting, and data-entry errors before final submission.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of USG reports.
- Handle daily typing and administrative tasks related to the USG/Radiology department.
- Ensure reports are prepared and delivered within the required time.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a USG Typist / Medical Typist / Radiology Typist preferred.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Good computer and MS Office skills.
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
