Role Overview The Senior Executive Payroll will be responsible for processing end-to-end US and Canada payroll activities, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery. The role requires hands-on expertise in payroll systems, robust reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage payroll transactions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll transactions using ADP, Workday, and BMS.
- Review and validate payroll inputs including hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, and tax updates.
- Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and pre-payroll validations to ensure accuracy.
- Support semi-monthly payroll processing while meeting SLA and compliance requirements.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Compliance teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and Canadian payroll regulations.
- Support payroll testing, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain process documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities.
Eligibility Criteria -
- 3–5 years of payroll experience in US and/or Canada payroll.
- Hands-on experience with ADP, Workday, and BMS preferred.
- Knowledge of US &
- Canada taxation, including Federal, State, Local, SUI, SDI, Social Security, Medicare, and provincial taxes.
- Familiarity with W-2, W-4, I-9, T4, and TD1 forms.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
