Looking for hiring a Manager – US Audit with 7–9 years of external audit experience and a CA/CPA qualification to manage end-to-end US audit engagements from its India offices. The role involves leading audit planning, risk assessment, execution, review and reporting, managing US and India teams, interacting directly with US clients, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Audit Management: Lead US audit engagements from planning, risk assessment and execution through review and final reporting.
- Audit Review: Review workpapers prepared by India and US teams, independently handle assigned audit areas and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Client Management: Interact directly with US clients, manage PBC lists, address audit queries, handle escalations and maintain client relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Apply solid knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, audit methodologies, risk assessment and complex accounting issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Commercial MRD, Technology, Tribal or Government audits.
- Experience in review, compilation and preparation engagements.
- Working knowledge of CaseWare and IDEA audit software.
