JD. We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Dynamics 365 F&O; Architect to lead the technical design and strategic implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the D365 F&O; platform, its core modules, the Power Platform, and related Azure services. This role demands a leader who can translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and sustainable technical architectures, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture & Design:
- Lead the architectural design and technical roadmap for Dynamics 365 F&O; implementations, ensuring alignment with business strategy and best practices.
- Define the overall technical solution architecture, including integrations, customizations, data migration strategies, and reporting structures.
- Evaluate functional requirements and propose optimal technical solutions leveraging out-of-the-box D365 F&O; capabilities, extensions, and the Power Platform.
- Design and oversee the development of complex integrations between D365 F&O; and other enterprise systems using various integration patterns (e.g., Data Management Framework, OData, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus).
- Technical Leadership & Governance:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and performance guidelines.
- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and performance assessments to maintain solution quality and stability.
- Establish and enforce technical governance policies, standards, and procedures for D365 F&O; development and deployment.
- Lead the selection and evaluation of third-party tools, add-ons,



and components to complement D365 F&O; functionality.
- Implementation & Deployment Strategy:
- Define deployment strategies and environment management plans using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.
- Oversee data migration strategies and execution for large-scale F&O; implementations.
- Plan and architect upgrade paths and release management for D365 F&O; solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, project managers, and technical teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams on D365 F&O; technical capabilities and architectural considerations.
- Innovation & Research:
- Stay abreast of the latest Dynamics 365 F&O; releases, Power Platform updates, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Research and recommend new technologies and approaches to enhance existing solutions or address new business challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years specifically as a Dynamics AX/365 F&O; Architect or Lead Technical Consultant.
- Proven track record of successfully architecting and delivering multiple large-scale D365 F&O; implementations.

- Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O;:
- Deep architectural knowledge of D365 F&O; core modules (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Retail,



Project Operations).
- Expertise in the D365 F&O; technical stack (X++, AOT, extensions, data entities, security model, LCS).
- In-depth understanding of D365 F&O; integration patterns and technologies (Data Management Framework, OData, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Custom Services).
- Experience with performance optimization, troubleshooting, and tuning of D365 F&O; environments.

- Microsoft Power Platform:
- Strong understanding of Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps), Power Automate (Flows), and Power BI in context of D365 F&O.;
- Familiarity with Dataverse/Common Data Model (CDM) and its integration with F&O.;

- Azure Technologies:
- Extensive experience with Azure services relevant to D365 F&O; (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of Azure architecture and cloud deployment models.
- Development Tools & Methodologies:
- Proficiency in C#, X++, .NET development.
- Expertise with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps (for CI/CD pipelines, source control, and project management).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Architectural & Leadership Skills:
- Ability to design complex, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

- Experience with industry-specific solutions built on D365 F&O.;
- Knowledge of presales activities and solution estimation for D365 F&O; projects.
- Experience with dual-write implementations between F&O; and CE.
