Role Description The Unit Head Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cinema unit. This position manages overall unit performance, including show scheduling, staff deployment, customer service standards, and adherence to operational procedures. The role includes monitoring revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring optimal resource utilization to meet business targets.

The Unit Head

Operations will lead and mentor the unit team, coordinate with central functions for marketing and promotions, and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene,



and regulatory requirements. The role also involves analyzing operational data, addressing guest feedback, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and the guest experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting performance data, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Communication skills to lead staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain explicit information flow.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills for cost control, expense tracking, and supporting revenue objectives.
- Relevant experience in cinema, hospitality, retail, or service-oriented operations management is highly beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle escalations and resolve issues promptly.
- Proficiency in basic office software and familiarity with POS or ticketing systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
