We are looking for an experienced TypeScript / VS Code Extension Developer with strong frontend and desktop tooling development experience. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining VS Code extensions, building up-to-date UI components, and integrating frontend applications with Python backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain VS Code Extensions using TypeScript.

- Work with VS Code Extension APIs, Webviews, Custom Editors, Tree Views, and activation models.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, React, Vue, or similar frameworks.

- Collaborate with Python backend teams to implement APIs and IPC communication.

- Develop client-server communication using REST APIs, JSON-RPC, or local IPC.

- Write unit and integration tests for TypeScript codebases.

- Use Git for branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews.

- Integrate frontend builds with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups,



backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills:

1. TypeScript / JavaScript - Strong knowledge of modern JS/TS concepts, asynchronous programming, design patterns, and Node.js.

2. VS Code Extension Development - Hands-on experience with VS Code Extension APIs, Webviews, Custom Editors, and extension activation.

3. UI/UX Technologies - Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SCSS, React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.

4. Git & CI/CD - Hands-on experience with Git workflows and Jenkins/build automation.

5. API & IPC Communication - Experience with REST APIs, JSON-RPC, client-server communication, or IPC mechanisms.
