About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Junior Travel Consultant / Sales Executive to join our travel team. Freshers with an educational background in Tourism, Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality, or related fields are welcome to apply.

The candidate will assist customers in planning their holidays, prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, and convert travel enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Handling

- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements, budget, travel dates and preferences.
- Suggest suitable domestic and international tour packages.
- Prepare and share travel quotations and itineraries.
- Follow up with customers regularly and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and provide professional service.
- Handle customer queries regarding hotels, flights, sightseeing, transfers, visas and tour packages.

Travel Package Sales

- Promote domestic and international holiday packages, group departures, FIT and customized tours.
- Learn and maintain good knowledge of popular destinations, hotels and tour products.
- Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, DMCs and internal operations teams for quotations and bookings.
- Assist in upselling hotel upgrades, sightseeing, transfers and other travel services.

Documentation & Coordination

- Collect and verify customer travel documents when required.
- Assist customers with basic visa documentation and application requirements.
- Coordinate with the operations team after confirmation of bookings.
- Maintain accurate customer and enquiry records.

Follow-up & Reporting





- Maintain daily follow-up with pending enquiries.
- Update enquiry and booking status in CRM/records.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Prepare basic daily/weekly sales reports.

Requirements
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with a degree/diploma in:
- Tourism & Travel Management
- Travel & Tourism
- Hospitality Management
- Aviation & Hospitality
- Hotel Management
- Any other tourism-related course
- will be preferred.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in travel sales/customer service can also apply.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Hindi or other languages will be an added advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office, email and WhatsApp.
- Good interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to learn about destinations, travel products and sales.
