Role Description The Training Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs for various teams, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and compliance staff. Day-to-day tasks include conducting training needs assessments, creating training plans and materials, facilitating classroom and on-the-job sessions, and organizing workshops and refreshers.

The Training

Manager will track training effectiveness through evaluations and performance metrics, maintain training records, and ensure programs align with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves collaborating closely with department heads and HR to support onboarding, continuous learning,



and competency development across the organization.

Qualifications

- Experience in training design and delivery, including needs assessment, curriculum development, and facilitation of group and individual sessions.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse audiences.

- Good organizational and time-management abilities to plan training schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including basic regulatory and compliance requirements (experience in GMP or quality-focused environments is an advantage).

- Proficiency in using digital tools for training (e.g., presentation software, learning management systems, virtual meeting platforms).

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build productive relationships across departments.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Human Resources, or Education; advanced certifications in training and development are a plus.

- Prior experience in a training, learning and development, or team leadership role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting.
