About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Track & Trace Specialist to join our US Logistics Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring freight movements, ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining accurate shipment updates, and communicating proactively with carriers, brokers, and customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.

This role requires strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery across the United States.
- Track freight using carrier systems, GPS platforms, TMS, ELDs, and customer portals.
- Contact carriers regularly via phone, email, and text to obtain real-time shipment updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Identify shipment delays, service disruptions, or exceptions and escalate them promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatch, carrier sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve shipment issues.
- Provide proactive shipment status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Verify pickup, transit, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain detailed shipment records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer SOPs and service-level agreements (SLAs).




- Support after-hours monitoring and critical shipment management when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners through professional communication.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in US Freight Brokerage, Logistics, or Transportation Operations.
- Prior experience in Track & Trace, Dispatch Support, Operations, or Customer Service within the US logistics industry.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working in US night shifts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with TMS platforms such as McLeod, MercuryGate, Tai, AscendTMS, Rose Rocket, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, Carrier411, MacroPoint, FourKites, Project44, or other shipment visibility tools.
- Familiarity with ELD platforms and carrier tracking technologies.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills.
- Understanding of US freight terminology, including FTL, LTL, Reefer, Flatbed, Dry Van, Detention, Lumper, TONU, and Appointment Scheduling.
