* Mould Fabrication & Assembly:
- Build, spot, fit, and assemble core/cavity inserts and mould bases according to 2D/3D engineering drawings, specifications, and prototypes.
- Execute engineering modifications, mould revisions, and core/cavity adjustments to meet strict product standards.
- Machining & Vendor Coordination:
- Set up and operate conventional tool room machines (Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding).
- Prepare in-house mould parts for EDM processing.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for CNC/VMC machining, heat treatment, and specialized processes.
- Mould Maintenance & Quality Control:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, polishing, and repair of finished moulds to eliminate flashing, venting, or cooling issues.
- Inspect finished mould components and moulded samples using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, dial indicators) to ensure strict tolerances.
