About the Role

LinearStack is looking for a motivated Tier 1 SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team in Chandigarh–Mohali.

You’ll work in a hands-on SOC/NOC environment, monitoring security alerts, investigating incidents, supporting network and system issues, and escalating threats when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security, network, and system alerts across SOC and NOC platforms.
- Triage and investigate security and infrastructure incidents.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and determine incident severity and priority.
- Escalate incidents according to defined procedures.
- Monitor and manage SOC/NOC support queues.
- Perform scheduled security and infrastructure health checks.
- Maintain accurate incident and ticket documentation.
- Support threat analysis and basic threat-hunting activities.
- Work with internal and external teams during incident resolution.
- Participate in a 24x7 rotating shift roster, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For





- Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience/training.
- Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and incident response.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK;, Cyber Kill Chain, or threat intelligence concepts is an advantage.
- PowerShell, Linux/Unix command line, or scripting knowledge is desirable.
- Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar are an advantage, but candidates currently working towards certification are welcome.
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chandigarh–Mohali and within a 24x7 rotational roster.
