Role Description The Thumbnail Designer is a part time, remote role , responsible for designing eye-catching thumbnails for social media platforms, video content, and digital campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing thumbnail ideas based on briefs, understanding target audiences, and aligning visuals with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

The role involves collaborating closely with content creators, video editors, and social media strategists to ensure thumbnails drive clicks, engagement, and consistent brand identity.

Designer will optimize designs for various platforms,



maintain organized design files, and stay updated on visual trends, best practices, and performance data to continually improve thumbnail effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Strong visual design skills, including composition, color theory, typography, and layout specifically tailored to thumbnails and social media graphics.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent graphic design software; familiarity with video platform (YouTube) is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, conduct basic audience and trend research, and translate concepts into clear, clickable visual narratives.
- Experience optimizing designs for different formats, resolutions, and platforms while maintaining brand consistency and fast turnaround times.
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional creative and marketing teams on-site.
- Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia, or a related field; prior experience in social media or content creation is preferred.
- Openness to feedback, willingness to experiment with new styles and trends, and a portfolio showcasing thumbnail or social media design work.
