Role Description The Textile Designer will work full time on-site at our Surat location, creating original fabric designs and surface patterns for women’s ethnic and Indo-western garments and sarees. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing print concepts, preparing repeat patterns, selecting color palettes, and collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure designs translate effectively to fabric. The role involves researching trends in textiles, embroidery, and graphics, preparing design artworks and technical specifications,



and coordinating with printers and suppliers on sampling and final production.

The Textile

Designer will also review strike-offs, maintain design libraries, and support timely collection development aligned with brand aesthetics and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Textile Prints and Textiles, with an understanding of fabric behavior, color application, and print techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, including proficiency in design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools) for creating and refining digital artworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Embroidery, with the ability to develop motifs, placements, and surface ornamentation suitable for ethnic and Indo-western garments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include trend research, color theory, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced design environment.
