We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric - Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation frameworks using Playwright with Python.
- Automate end-to-end web applications across multiple browsers.
- Develop and execute REST API automation tests.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Validate API responses, status codes, headers, and JSON payloads.
- Handle complex JSON parsing and validation using Python.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications
- Test Automation Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Playwright Python: Robust hands-on experience with Playwright and Python.
- REST API Testing:
Solid knowledge of REST API testing.
- JSON Handling: Experience with JSON handling and validation using Python.
- Git SDLC/STLC: Familiarity with Git and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
