Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Temenos T24 Functional QA Analyst based in Chennai. The analyst will design, review, and execute functional test scenarios and test cases for Temenos T24 modules, ensuring system behavior meets business and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include validating configurations and integrations, performing manual testing across multiple banking workflows, and documenting defects with transparent evidence for development teams.

The role involves collaborating closely with business analysts, developers,



and project managers to refine requirements, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to overall quality control and risk mitigation. The analyst will also prepare test reports, track quality metrics, and suggest improvements to testing processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills for understanding banking processes, interpreting requirements, and identifying gaps or risks in Temenos T24 implementations.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including defect management, root cause analysis, and adherence to testing standards.
- Hands-on Manual Testing skills with the ability to design, execute, and maintain detailed Test Cases covering functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
- Practical experience working as a functional tester or analyst on Temenos T24 or similar core banking platforms.
- Knowledge of retail and corporate banking products, payments, and regulatory/reporting flows is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, or similar) and basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and manage priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
