Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager – Training & Development (Service – Technical Training) to lead technical capability development for our Technicians, PSEs and Service Officials.

The role will be responsible for designing and delivering technical training programs covering EV systems, vehicle diagnostics, service processes, troubleshooting and SOPs, while ensuring that service teams are equipped to independently handle evolving product and field requirements.

The ideal candidate should combine strong automotive/EV technical knowledge with excellent training, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.

1. Technical Training & Capability Development

- Design and deliver technical training programs for Technicians, PSEs and Service Teams.
- Conduct classroom, workshop and hands-on practical training on EV systems and vehicle components.
- Train teams on vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair procedures and service SOPs.
- Develop technical training modules based on product, process and skill requirements.
- Conduct regular skill assessments, technical evaluations and certification programs.

2. Field Technical Support

- Support service teams in diagnosing and resolving complex technical and vehicle-related issues.
- Identify recurring technical issues and convert field learnings into structured training interventions.
- Work closely with Service,



Quality and Technical teams to improve first-time-right service capability.
- Provide technical inputs during current product, feature or system launches.

3. Training Need Analysis & Planning

- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) across the service organization.
- Identify skill gaps at individual, team and regional levels.
- Build monthly/quarterly training calendars aligned with business and service requirements.
- Define training objectives, learning outcomes and assessment methodologies.

4. Content Development

- Collaborate with R&D;, Engineering, Product and Service teams to develop and continuously update technical training content.
- Create training materials including:
- Technical manuals
- SOPs
- Troubleshooting guides
- Diagnostic flowcharts
- Training presentations
- Practical exercises
- Assessment questionnaires
- Ensure training content reflects the latest product changes, technical updates and service processes.

5. Training Effectiveness & Analytics

- Track training effectiveness through assessments, certification scores and field performance.
- Establish and monitor training KPIs such as:
- Training completion
- Assessment scores
- Certification rates
- Skill improvement
- Repeat technical issues
- Training effectiveness
- Use data and field feedback to continuously improve training programs.

6. Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Service, R&D;, Engineering, Quality, Product and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with regional/service teams to understand emerging technical capability requirements.
- Manage external training partners/vendors wherever required.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and frontline service teams.
