About the role

We’re looking for a mechanically minded Technical Support Associate to support customers and the sales team at our engineering trading company. You will help customers identify suitable products, answer technical questions, prepare quotations, and coordinate orders with suppliers.

Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries about mechanical products, specifications, applications, and availability.
- Help identify suitable products such as pumps, valves, bearings, motors, tools, or other industrial components.
- Review product catalogues, datasheets, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries and orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, technical details, and delivery.
- Support the sales team with product comparisons and technical documentation.
- Help resolve order, delivery, or product-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, quotations, and product information.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Freshers are welcome as Graduate Trainees.



Basic understanding of your field of engineering is a must. Driving licence is mandatory
- Strong interest in mechanical products and industrial applications.
- Ability to understand technical datasheets, drawings, and specifications.
- Clear communication and customer-service skills.
- Positive organisation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic office software.
- Previous experience in technical sales, customer support, procurement, or engineering trading is an advantage.
