Project Description:
A Cloud Technical Project Manager (TPM) bridges business objectives and engineering execution. They own the end-to-end delivery of cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and platform operations, while removing technical roadblocks and managing cross-functional dependencies across engineering, security, and product teams
Responsibilities:
- Program Execution: Manage cloud migration roadmaps, timelines, and budgets from planning to production deployment.
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate with architects and DevSecOps engineers to translate requirements into actionable CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring workflows.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify system constraints, anticipate bottlenecks, and facilitate issue resolution between distributed technical teams.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure cloud environments meet strict security, scalability, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central communication hub, translating complex technical metrics into executive-level status reports.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Year of Experience: 8+ years within relevant Job Skill, 3+ years Leadership / Supervisory experience
- Technical Acumen: 2 – 4 years Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and core services like compute, networking,
and IAM.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Project Management Experience: 3–5+ years managing enterprise-level technical programs, utilizing Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills in highly matrixed organizations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Certifications such as PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Google Cloud Certified Professional.
- Experience with cloud financial operations (FinOps), tracking cloud spend, and vendor management.
- Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Understanding of core cloud services: Compute, Networking and IAM (Identity and Access Management)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Agile or hybrid methodologies
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Certifications such as PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Google Cloud Certified Qualified.
- Experience with cloud financial operations (FinOps), tracking cloud spend, and vendor management.
