Aptagrim is looking for a hands-on Technical Project Manager to drive the structured execution of enterprise software and AI projects.

The role will work closely with the Delivery Manager, Business Analysts, Technical Lead, engineering, QA, DevOps and AI teams to translate agreed scope into realistic project plans and ensure delivery is predictable, timely and well coordinated.

This is primarily an execution and project ownership role, not an architecture or engineering-management position. The person should have sufficient technical understanding to challenge estimates, identify dependencies and recognise delivery risks, while technical architecture and engineering quality remain with the Technical Lead.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day execution of multiple software and AI projects from planning through release and closure.
- Convert approved scope and requirements into detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, owners and timelines.
- Coordinate Business Analysts, Technical Leads, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps and AI teams to ensure commitments are met.
- Drive execution discipline through regular project reviews, action tracking and timely follow-up.
- Identify schedule risks, resource constraints, dependencies and potential delays early and initiate corrective actions.
- Challenge delivery estimates and project status using sufficient technical understanding, while leaving architecture and engineering decisions with the Technical Lead.
- Maintain accurate project plans, risk and issue registers, dependency trackers and delivery dashboards.
- Ensure functional, technical and QA validations are completed before deliverables are released to clients.
- Coordinate sprint/release planning, UAT, production deployments and go-live activities.
- Track scope changes and assess their impact on timelines, resources and delivery commitments.




- Provide the Delivery Manager with accurate project status, risks, recovery plans and upcoming decisions.
- Participate in client status meetings and independently manage routine project discussions when required.
- Maintain continuity of project execution and act as operational backup when the Delivery Manager is unavailable.
- Improve project-management processes and increase predictability across concurrent projects.

Required Experience & Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in technical project management, software delivery or enterprise technology implementation.
- Strong experience managing cross-functional teams involving frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, Business Analysts and preferably AI/ML teams.
- Good technical understanding of modern web applications, APIs, databases, integrations, cloud environments and software release processes.
- Ability to understand technical dependencies, question estimates and identify execution risks without needing to own solution architecture.
- Proven experience creating and managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery commitments.
- Strong execution discipline, follow-through and ability to drive accountability across teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise software projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum and release-management practices.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp or similar project-management tools.
- Strong client communication, expectation management, documentation and status-reporting skills.
- Experience with scope management, change requests, UAT and production releases.
- Experience with AI/ML or GenAI projects is preferred.
- PMP, Scrum Master or similar certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup workplace with changing priorities and high ownership.
