Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong software engineering background, preferably having started their career as a Java Developer and progressed into Technical Lead / Engineering Lead and subsequently Program Management.

The ideal candidate should combine strong technical expertise with proven experience in managing complex technology programs, engineering teams, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.

This role requires someone who can understand technology at an engineering level, engage deeply with architects and developers, challenge technical discussions when required, and drive programs from planning through successful delivery.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs involving multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Leverage strong Java/software engineering experience to understand technical architecture, application design, development challenges, and delivery dependencies.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Architects, Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Security,



and Business stakeholders.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technology programs, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans.
- Own program planning, roadmap, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery governance.
- Drive multiple engineering workstreams and ensure alignment across teams.
- Identify technical risks, architectural dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery bottlenecks proactively.
- Facilitate technical and program discussions and ensure timely decision-making.
- Partner with architects and engineering leads on technical strategy, solution dependencies, modernization initiatives, and implementation plans.
- Track development progress across teams and ensure engineering deliverables remain aligned with program objectives.
- Manage cross-team dependencies involving APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms, integrations, DevOps, and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular program reviews and provide clear status updates to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain program governance, dashboards, KPIs, RAID logs, action trackers, and executive reporting.
- Drive resolution of critical issues and escalate appropriately when required.
- Coordinate release planning and ensure dependencies across development, QA, DevOps, and production teams are addressed.
- Manage scope changes, priorities, timelines, and resource requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
- Promote Agile engineering practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Mentor and guide technical leads and engineering stakeholders on program execution and delivery discipline.
