Role Description The Technical Manager – Electrical is an in office role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical testing and calibration operations, ensuring that all procedures comply with relevant national and international standards.

The Technical

Manager will lead and mentor the electrical laboratory team, allocate work, review test results, and approve reports before release to clients. Daily activities include planning and scheduling electrical tests, troubleshooting technical issues with instruments, maintaining and improving laboratory methods, and coordinating with quality assurance to support audits and accreditation requirements.



The role also involves interacting with clients to understand technical requirements, recommending appropriate test methodologies, and contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory processes, safety practices, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in electrical testing, calibration procedures, and instrumentation used in industrial and laboratory environments.
- Hands-on experience with electrical measurement standards, test methods, and relevant national/international regulations and accreditation norms (such as NABL or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage workflows in a lab setting, and provide guidance on complex electrical issues.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, report preparation, data analysis, and validation of test results for client delivery.
- Solid understanding of laboratory quality management systems, safety protocols, and continuous improvement practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Relevant industry or laboratory experience in testing and calibration, preferably within an accredited lab or industrial setting.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external auditors, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfort working on-site in an industrial/laboratory environment and readiness to adapt to evolving technologies and standards.
