About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Team Leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Microservices. Candidates with experience in the Telecom domain, particularly 4G/5G/3GPP and Policy & Charging systems (PCC/PCF/PCRF), are required for this role.

The selected candidate will lead a team of engineers and contribute to the design and development of highly scalable, high-performance and low-latency telecom applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers/engineers.
- Design and develop scalable, highly available and low-latency microservices.
- Drive technical architecture, design decisions and development best practices.
- Work extensively with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and Redis.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-streaming solutions for real-time processing.
- Implement Redis for caching and data storage.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Plan tasks, track deliverables and ensure timely project execution.




- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
- Support the development of robust telecom applications meeting high reliability and performance requirements.

Required Experience
- 7–10 years of overall experience in software development.
- Robust hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience in Kafka, Redis and Microservices.
- Experience in designing scalable and robust application architectures.
- Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and team-management skills.
- Mandatory Telecom domain experience with exposure to 3G/4G/5G, 3GPP and Policy & Charging systems (PCC/PCF/PCRF).
