Job Title: Data Architect ? Azure & Box.com Integration

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Architect to design and implement a centralized enterprise document repository by integrating Box.com and Azure Storage. The role will focus on data architecture, synchronization, metadata management, and governance, enabling a scalable and controlled document management platform for enterprise use cases such as investor portal

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Architecture & Platform Design

- Define end-to-end architecture for a centralized document repository
- Design integration between Box.com (external content platform) and Azure Storage (internal data platform)
- Establish scalable storage patterns for structured and unstructured data

2. Data Synchronization & Integration

- Design and implement two-way synchronization between Box.com and Azure Storage
- Ensure data consistency, version control, and change propagation
- Replace point-to-point integrations with standardized integration patterns

3. Metadata Management

- Define and implement enterprise metadata models
- Manage mappings (e.g., fund admin IDs to internal identifiers) for consistency and traceability
- Enable effective document classification, indexing, and retrieval

4. Data Governance & Compliance

- Establish data governance frameworks including:
- Data quality and validation controls
- Data lineage and auditability
- Access control and security policies





- Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards

5. Enterprise Integration

- Integrate with enterprise platforms such as:
- Investor portals
- SharePoint and internal systems
- External partner ecosystems

- Enable seamless document access and distribution workflows

6. Delivery & Execution

- Define architecture for MVP delivery (3?6 months? timeline) aligned to business goals
- Support SOW creation, estimation, and technical planning
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams during implementation

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Enterprise Data Platforms
- Strong expertise in:
- Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake, related services)
- Enterprise content management platforms (Box, SharePoint, etc.)

- Experience in:

- Data modeling (structured & unstructured data)
- Data integration and synchronization patterns
- Metadata management and governance frameworks

- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, enterprise-grade data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in financial services or asset management domain
- Familiarity with document-heavy platforms (investor reporting, alternatives, etc.)
- Knowledge of API-driven architecture and microservices integration
