Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Team Lead with robust experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and paralegal exposure in areas such as personal injury law, workers’ compensation, lemon law, and employment law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract processes, excellent people management skills, and the ability to drive performance, accuracy, and compliance in all contract-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of legal associates working on contract drafting, review, abstraction, and negotiation.
- Monitor team performance, set KPIs, and ensure timely delivery of assignments with high quality.
- Provide training and continuous feedback to team members to enhance productivity and legal acumen.
- Act as the first point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders.

Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM):

- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts including drafting, redlining, review, negotiation support, execution, renewal, and termination.
- Ensure adherence to client-specific guidelines, internal SLAs, and legal best practices.
- Support implementation and usage of CLM platforms such as Icertis, DocuSign, Ironclad, LinkSquares, etc.

Paralegal Support (Personal Injury, WC, Lemon Law, Employment Law):

- Provide paralegal-level understanding and support for matters related to personal injury law,



workers’ compensation, lemon law, and employment law as required by specific client needs.
- Review relevant legal documents, assist in case preparation, and ensure compliance with applicable legal standards.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Liaise with internal departments and external clients to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Participate in client calls, provide updates, and resolve contract-related queries or issues.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for automation, template creation, and process enhancement within the CLM function.
- Ensure documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories are always updated.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Identify legal and business risks within contracts and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all contract practices align with applicable laws, company policies, and client requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution.
- 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership position.
- Strong experience in Contract Lifecycle Management, including commercial, procurement, SaaS, NDA, MSA, SOW, and related contracts.
- Paralegal experience in personal injury law, workers’ compensation, lemon law, and employment law is required.
- Hands-on experience with CLM tools (e.g., Icertis, DocuSign, LinkSquares, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with legal tech platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
