IT Team Lead – Full Stack, Mobile, DevOps & Security

About the Role

We are looking for a highly hands-on IT Team Lead who can take ownership of our software development and technology infrastructure.

This is a broad technical role for an engineer who is comfortable working across web applications, backend development, Android/iOS applications, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and application security.

The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a product from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance, while also providing technical leadership to the development team.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Leadership

- Lead and guide the software development team.
- Design and review application architecture and technical solutions.
- Establish coding, development, deployment, and security standards.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development quality.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Plan development tasks, releases, deployments, and technical improvements.
- Coordinate technical requirements between management, developers, and other stakeholders.

1. Web Application & Backend Development

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications.
- Build backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
- Work with modern frontend and backend frameworks.
- Design database structures and optimize application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Debug and resolve production issues.

1. Android & iOS Development

- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Preferably work with cross-platform technologies such as Flutter or React Native.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
- Manage application builds, releases, updates, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot mobile application issues across different devices and operating systems.

1. DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

- Manage cloud infrastructure and application deployments.
- Work with platforms such as AWS.
- Configure and maintain Linux servers and cloud services.
- Implement Docker-based application environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage source control, deployments, environments, backups, and monitoring.




- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

1. Security

- Implement security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Secure applications, APIs, databases, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage authentication, authorization, IAM, secrets, and access controls.
- Apply OWASP and secure coding principles.
- Identify and resolve common application and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Maintain secure development and deployment practices.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security improvements when required.

1. IT & Infrastructure Ownership

- Maintain the company's technical development setting.
- Manage developer access, repositories, environments, and technical tools.
- Establish reliable backup and recovery procedures.
- Maintain documentation for systems, architecture, deployments, and critical processes.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies when required.

Required SkillsCore Development
- Strong programming experience in one or more modern languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, Dart, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and development principles.
- Experience with REST APIs and database-driven applications.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Strong Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket experience.

Web
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent.
- Understanding of frontend and backend architecture.

Mobile
- Experience developing mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Experience with Flutter, React Native, or another cross-platform framework is preferred.

DevOps / Cloud
- Practical experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
- Linux administration.
- Docker and containerization.
- CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud networking and deployment.
- Monitoring, logging, backups,



and troubleshooting.

Security
- Understanding of application and cloud security.
- Authentication and authorization.
- API security.
- IAM and access management.
- HTTPS/TLS, secrets management, and secure configuration.
- Knowledge of OWASP security principles.

Leadership & Problem Solving
- Ability to independently investigate and solve technical problems.
- Ability to make practical technology decisions based on business requirements.
- Strong ownership mentality.
- Ability to work across multiple technical areas rather than being limited to a single technology.
- Ability to mentor developers and establish technical standards.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving product development environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience taking a product from 0 → 1.
- Experience working in a startup or small technology team.
- Experience designing complete application architecture.
- Experience managing production systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with Redis, message queues, or other distributed-system technologies.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability.
- Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a hands-on technical owner, not a purely managerial team lead.

The successful candidate should be able to:

Design → Develop → Deploy → Secure → Monitor → Maintain and should be comfortable getting into the code, server, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipeline, or security configuration when required.

You do not need to be the world's best specialist in every technology. However, you should have strong practical engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across the complete technology stack.

Experience

5+ years of relevant professional experience

Candidates with strong practical experience and demonstrable projects may also be considered based on technical capability.
