? Role: Automation Project Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Automation Project Sales Manager to drive business development and project sales for Industrial Automation, Control Panel and DCS projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B project sales, solution selling, customer acquisition and execution of automation projects, with good technical understanding of PLC, SCADA, DCS, control panels and electrical systems.

? Key Responsibilities

✅ Project Sales & Business Development

· Drive sales of Industrial Automation, Control Panel and DCS projects.

· Generate new business opportunities through direct customer visits, references, consultants, OEMs and system integrators.

· Develop and maintain relationships with end users, OEMs, EPCs, consultants and industrial customers.

· Identify new projects, upcoming automation requirements and market opportunities.

· Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

✅ Automation Solution Sales

· Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable automation solutions.

· Handle enquiries related to:

o PLC / SCADA / HMI o DCS / Process Automation o VFD / Drives o MCC / PCC / PLC / VFD Panels o Control & Automation Panels o Electrical & Instrumentation Projects

· Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team for technical solution development.

✅ RFQ, Proposal & Tender Management

· Study RFQs, tender documents, specifications and customer requirements.

· Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

· Review SLDs, GA drawings, control philosophy, IO lists,



BOM and project specifications.

· Prepare quotations and commercial offers in coordination with the technical and commercial teams.

· Negotiate with customers and support order closure.

✅ Project & Order Coordination

· Coordinate with Projects, Design, Production, Purchase and Service teams after order receipt.

· Ensure smooth transition from sales to project execution.

· Track project progress, customer requirements, approvals and commercial milestones.

· Support timely resolution of customer issues and project-related concerns.

✅ Customer & Market Development

· Develop long-term relationships with key industrial customers.

· Conduct customer meetings, presentations and technical discussions.

· Participate in exhibitions, seminars and customer events.

· Track competitor activities, market trends and upcoming projects.

? Preferred Technical Exposure

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Siemens / ABB / Schneider / Rockwell / Honeywell / Yokogawa / Emerson

· Industrial Networking

? Candidate Profile

✔ 8–12 years of experience in Industrial Automation / Electrical Project Sales

✔ Strong experience in project-based B2B sales

✔ Experience selling Control Panels / Automation Projects / DCS Projects

✔ Strong customer network in industrial segments

✔ Good understanding of technical specifications and project requirements

✔ Robust negotiation, presentation and communication skills

✔ Ability to independently generate leads and close projects

✔ Experience with EPCs, OEMs, consultants and end users will be an advantage
