Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tally Accountant role based in Mumbai.

The Tally

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, preparing bank reconciliations, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely recording of all financial transactions. The role involves assisting in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, supporting statutory and tax-related compliances, and coordinating with internal teams or external auditors as needed.

The Tally

Accountant will also help maintain organized documentation of invoices and vouchers,



ensure data accuracy, and support management with basic financial reports.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Tally ERP or Tally Prime and strong hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting entries.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including ledgers, trial balance, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping.
- Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and expense tracking with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and statutory compliance requirements is preferred.
- Good MS Excel skills for preparing reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Strong numerical aptitude, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- Prior experience in an accounting role, especially with consulting firms or SMEs, will be an advantage.
- Integrity, reliability, and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
