Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of telecom subsystems for metro rail and transportation projects.
- Develop technical roadmaps, solution strategies, and lifecycle management plans aligned with project and business objectives.
- Review and approve preliminary and detailed design documents, integration deliverables, and FAT, PAT, and SAT procedures.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts, vendor assessments, technical feasibility studies, and design reviews.
- Establish and manage telecom testing laboratories for system simulation, integration, and validation.
- Define and review telecom interfaces with signaling, rolling stock, SCADA, and automatic fare collection systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across multiple projects.
Skills Required:
- 10 - 17 years of relevant experience,
preferably including 5 years in metro projects or rail telecommunications.
- Solid experience with telecommunications systems, BTS, MPLS, access control, and metro rail environments.
- Demonstrated capability in system architecture, subsystem design, requirements analysis, and technical documentation.
- Experience integrating telecom platforms with transportation systems and managing complex system interfaces.
- Hands-on understanding of telecom system integration, testing, FAT, PAT, SAT, and customer acceptance activities.
Good to Have:
- Experience with railway signaling systems and rail telecom domain projects.
Education:
B.E. or B.Tech degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
