We are specifically looking for B.Pharm/ M.Pharm/ B. Tech/M.Tech people with experience in Supply Planning in the pharmaceutical sector.
Role & responsibilities
Your role will be to plan production, track raw materials and packaging materials, manage inventory, and solve shortages before they affect manufacturing.
- Check how much product demand is coming from the market and plan production accordingly.
- Ensure factories have enough raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) like bottles, labels, shippers, etc.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to avoid stock shortages or production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels so there is neither excess stock nor shortage.
- Track slow-moving, blocked, or near-expiry materials and take corrective actions.
- Use SAP (S4HANA/ECC) to create production orders, manage BOMs, and track material movement.
- Participate in S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to align supply with business demand.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to planning, shortages, inventory, and performance.
