Position: Store & Inventory Assistant Role Overview The Store & Inventory Assistant is responsible for managing incoming materials, maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper storage, and supporting production with timely material issuance. The role also includes basic incoming QC and in‑process QC checks to ensure material quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive all incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, and condition against purchase orders.
- Perform incoming QC checks for flow meter components, sensors, electronics, and mechanical parts.
- Maintain updated stock records, including shortages, excess, and reorder alerts.
- Store materials systematically with proper labeling, binning, and FIFO discipline.
- Issue materials to production as per job card / work order requirements.
- Conduct in‑process QC for assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and fabricated parts.
- Coordinate with purchase and suppliers for delivery discrepancies or damaged items.
- Prepare dispatch items, pack materials, and support logistics when required.
- Update inventory software / Excel sheets daily.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the store area.




- Support annual and monthly physical stock audits.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Basic knowledge of industrial components (sensors, transmitters, fittings, cables, etc.)
- Understanding of QC parameters for mechanical and electronic parts.
- Strong record‑keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to work systematically and maintain organised storage.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software).
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
- Teamwork and coordination with purchase, production, and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

- 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma preferred.
- 1–3 years experience in storekeeping or inventory management (manufacturing preferred).
- Experience in QC or material inspection is an added advantage.

Work Location BR Instrumentation & Controls – Talawade , Pune

Salary Range

₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience & skill level)

Pay: ₹8,194.20 - ₹22,681.95 per month
