Role Description The Store Manager – Furniture role at Royaloak in Chennai is a full-time, in office position responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

The Store

Manager leads and supervises the sales team, sets performance targets, manages floor displays, and ensures that furniture products are presented according to brand guidelines. This role involves monitoring inventory, coordinating with supply and logistics teams, implementing retail loss prevention measures, and maintaining accurate sales and stock records.

Manager also handles escalated customer queries,



supports promotional activities, and ensures adherence to company policies, safety standards, and visual merchandising best practices. The position requires hands-on leadership on the showroom floor, actively engaging with customers and team members to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, guide team members, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Proven Store Management experience in furniture or furniture related, including team supervision, sales performance monitoring, and day-to-day operational oversight.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including stock control, shrinkage reduction, and adherence to security procedures.
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or home décor, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy showroom environment.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems for billing, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Relevant educational background in Business, Retail Management, or a related field; prior experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
