The Store In-charge owns the day-to-day running of a single Café Gujju Bhai QSR outlet and is fully accountable for its daily sales, billing accuracy, online-delivery performance, smooth opening and closing, inventory and ordering, hygiene and food-safety compliance, and the outlet team. The role ensures the outlet runs to brand SOPs and meets its sales, cost and quality targets, escalating issues to the Area Operations Manager as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily Sales, Billing & Cash

- Drive and monitor daily sales against target; understand what is selling and push slow hours/items.
- Operate the POS (Petpooja) and ensure every order is billed correctly — no unbilled or under-billed items.
- Complete day-end cash-vs-POS reconciliation; manage the cash float, petty cash and bank deposits.
- Apply discounts and offers strictly as per policy; flag and prevent misuse.

2. Online Delivery (Zomato · Swiggy · Flipkart)

- Keep aggregator menus, prices, photos and item availability accurate and up to date.
- Toggle items online/offline based on live stock to minimise “item unavailable” and order rejections/cancellations.
- Ensure order accuracy, packing standards and on-time rider handover; keep preparation times low.
- Track ratings and reviews, resolve complaints quickly and protect the outlet’s online rating.

3. Opening & Closing

- Open the outlet on time and complete the opening checklist — equipment, hygiene, stock readiness, POS and cash float
- Complete the closing checklist — cleaning and sanitation, equipment switch-off, cash handover, day-end reports and securing the premises.

4. Inventory, Stock & Ordering

- Track stock daily; maintain par levels to prevent both stock-outs and over-ordering.
- Raise indents / purchase orders to the Central Kitchen and approved vendors on schedule.
- Receive goods against order (GRN) — verify quantity, quality and rate; record and control wastage.
- Follow FIFO storage,



monitor food cost and reduce shrinkage and wastage.

5. Team & Shift Management

- Roster and supervise outlet staff, mark attendance and run a short daily team briefing.
- Train the team on SOPs, hygiene and customer service; maintain grooming and uniform standards.
- Ensure adequate shift cover, including during peak days, weekends and festivals/events (e.g., Navratri).

6. Hygiene, Food Safety & Complianc

- Enforce FSSAI and health & hygiene standards; maintain cleaning, sanitation and temperature logs.
- Keep licences and mandatory displays valid and visible; support pest-control and deep-cleaning schedules.
- Uphold personal-hygiene and protected food-handling discipline across the team.

7. Customer Experience & Reporting

- Ensure quick service, correct orders and a clean, welcoming outlet; handle customer queries courteously.
- Submit the daily store/sales report and weekly stock & wastage summary; escalate operational, equipment or staffing issues to the Area Operations Manager.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- Education: minimum 12th pass; graduate or Hotel Management / F&B; qualification preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years in QSR, café or food retail, including at least 1 year as a shift in-charge / supervisor. (Adjust to your grade.)
- Systems: comfortable with a POS (Petpooja preferred) and aggregator dashboards (Zomato / Swiggy); basic Excel and smartphone-app literacy for stock and reports.
- Languages: working proficiency in Kannada, Hindi and English.
- Skills: strong ownership and people-handling, hands-on attitude, hygiene-conscious, calm under peak-hour pressure and quick at problem-solving.
- Availability: able to work rotational shifts, weekends and festival/event days; based in or near the outlet location.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- 9-hour shift (rotational), 6 days a week with one weekly off.
- On-ground role in a working kitchen / counter environment; standing for most of the shift.
