Job Summary

We are looking for a polite, energetic, and customer-focused Steward / Stewardess to join our Food & Beverage service team. The candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Assist guests with seating and provide menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages according to restaurant service standards.
- Ensure timely and courteous service throughout the guest's dining experience.
- Maintain proper table setup with crockery, cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other service items.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently after guest departure.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, restaurant areas, and equipment.
- Ensure adequate availability of cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, and other service requirements.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, Captain,



and other service staff for smooth operations.
- Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Handle basic guest queries and escalate complaints to the Captain or Restaurant Manager.
- Assist in upselling food and beverage items when required.
- Follow restaurant SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and grooming standards.
- Minimize breakage, wastage, and damage of restaurant equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the outlet.
- Support the team during peak hours, events, and special functions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Candidate Requirements
- Education: Hotel Management qualification is an advantage.
- Experience: 0–2 years in a restaurant, hotel, caf, or hospitality environment. Freshers may also be considered depending on the property.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Pleasant personality and guest-oriented approach.
- Well-groomed and professionally presentable.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
